Wabi Sabi Ceiling Light Japanese Artisanal Quiet Elegance Design Lamp

Wabi Sabi Ceiling Light with Organic Curved Silhouette for Living Rooms and Bedrooms

This light leans into the Wabi Sabi idea that beauty lives in the natural and the slightly imperfect, so its rounded, organic silhouette feels handcrafted rather than machine perfect. Instead of a stark, geometric fixture, it has a soft, pebble-like form that sits close to the ceiling and spreads a warm, even light downward across the room. It works well in a living room where you want a calm gathering spot, or in a bedroom where a softer glow helps you wind down at the end of the day. At 45 by 52 centimeters, it has enough presence to anchor a mid sized room without feeling oversized, and its natural material and muted color keep it blending quietly into the space rather than demanding attention. It is a fixture meant to be lived with, not just looked at.

Questions about this product

Everything you need to know about this product.

What are the dimensions of this light and where does it fit best?

The fixture measures 45 by 52 centimeters, giving it enough presence to serve as the main light source in a living room or bedroom of typical size. Its rounded, low profile shape keeps it from feeling bulky, so it suits both open living areas and more intimate bedrooms without overwhelming the ceiling line.

Does the handcrafted finish match the listing photos exactly?

The metal finish is handcrafted, so while the overall shape, size, and soft color shown in the photos are accurate, small natural variations in texture are normal from piece to piece. This is part of the Wabi Sabi character the design is built around, and it does not affect how the fixture performs or looks installed.

How is this light installed, and does it need an electrician?

It mounts flush against an overhead surface using the included bracket and hardware, sitting close to the surface for a clean, low profile look. Because it connects to household wiring, we recommend a licensed electrician install it to make sure the wiring and mounting are safe and properly secured.

How do I clean it and can it be used in a bathroom?

Wipe the metal surface with a soft, dry cloth regularly to keep dust from building up, and avoid soaking it or using abrasive or chemical cleaners that could dull the handcrafted finish. This fixture is designed for dry indoor rooms such as living rooms and bedrooms, not for damp or wet locations like bathrooms.

What bulb does this fixture take and is it dimmable?

It runs on standard household voltage between 90 and 260 volts and is designed for a common screw base bulb sized to fit the fixture opening, giving you flexibility to pick your preferred warmth. It is not sold with dimming circuitry included, so pair it with a dimmable bulb and compatible switch for adjustable brightness.

Handcrafted Metal Wabi Sabi Light, Simple Overhead Mount, Soft Warm Ambient Glow

Each piece is built from metal and finished by hand, so the surface can carry small, natural variations that give it a genuine handmade character rather than a uniform, factory finish. Dust it with a soft, dry cloth on a regular basis, and avoid soaking it or using harsh chemical cleaners that could affect the finish over time. It mounts flush against the ceiling using the included bracket, keeping the profile low while still casting light broadly across the room. It runs on standard household voltage between 90 and 260 volts, and it works with a common screw base bulb sized to the fixture, so you can choose your own warmth and brightness.
