Sixty Three Inches of Span, Which Is the Whole Argument for This One
Six slender wrought iron arms leave a central column in long S curves and end in a turned candle cup and bobeche. The span is 63 inches, which puts this well past the size of an ordinary six light chandelier and turns it into a horizontal gesture across a room: one wide line rather than a mass in the middle. Because there is no glass and no body to the fitting, that width costs almost nothing in visual weight. Three finishes are offered, and each can be taken with six pale drum shades or with the candle cups left open.
