A flat mirrored surface would bounce the LED back as one clean shape. This one is worked by hand so the surface is deliberately uneven, and that irregularity is what breaks the reflected light into soft moving bands across the wall, closer to sunlight on water than to a beam. Will it cover a standard junction box?

Possibly not. The back plate is only 1.1 inches wide, so a standard US 4 inch box may show. Plan a small box or an adapter plate with your electrician before the wiring is set.

How much light does it give?

Very little by design. A single disc version draws about 3 watts and the two disc version about 6. It is a light effect on the wall rather than a source for reading or working.

Which version should I choose?

One disc at 12.9 inches for a compact wall, one at 19.7 inches for more presence, or two discs at 14.9 inches when you want the waves layered rather than single.

Will the pattern match the photographs?

In character, not exactly. The mirrored surface is worked by hand and deliberately uneven, which is what shapes the waves, so each piece throws a slightly different pattern.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs from a wall switch, and the narrow back plate makes the box choice part of the job rather than an afterthought.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, with no protection against water. A polished mirrored surface in a steamy room also shows every water mark, which ruins the effect it exists for.

The plate is 1.1 inches wide, which is what keeps the fitting reading as a line rather than a bracket. It also means it may not cover a standard US 4 inch junction box. Three versions are offered, one disc at 12.9 or 19.7 inches, or two discs at 14.9 inches, with black or nickel discs.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
