The Bar Turns on Its Own Bracket, So You Choose the Angle of the Light

Almost every flush wall fitting makes the decision for you: the light leaves at whatever angle the designer fixed, and if that is wrong for your wall you live with it. Here the bar itself rotates on a small bracket, so the angle is yours and you can change it later. Level, the lit edge throws a broad even wash straight down the wall, which is what you want above a console or a bed. Set on the diagonal it rakes the light sideways and picks up the texture of plaster or brick. Turned to face upward it becomes an uplight and bounces off the ceiling. What exactly adjusts?

The whole bar. It sits on a small bracket and turns on it, so you set the angle of the lit edge rather than the position of a shade. Level gives a broad wash, diagonal rakes the light sideways, and turned up it works as an uplight.

How deep is it?

4.5 cm. That is the point of the design: you get an aimable light without anything projecting into the room, which is why it works in a hallway, beside a mirror or above a bed where an arm mounted fitting would be in the way.
