How many blocks should I choose for a stairway?

On a stair wall the lamp is seen from below and above, so a taller lamp reads better. Three or four blocks suit a full flight. One or two blocks suit a landing or a short run of steps. Several single blocks spaced up the wall also follow the rise of the stairs.

Where does the cord go?

It hangs straight down from the base of the lamp to the outlet, 59 inches long, with an inline switch. On a stair wall, a paintable cord cover keeps it tidy.

Is it bright enough to light the steps?

It is ambient light. The stone softens the LED into a glow, which marks the stairs and the wall well at night but is not a task light. On a long, dark flight, pair it with a ceiling fixture.

Will my lamp look like the photos?

It will look like alabaster, but not exactly like the photographed piece. Each block has its own veins and tone. Rust colored lines and cloudy patches are part of the stone.

Can I dim it?

The plug-in version switches on and off from the cord. For dimming, the hardwired version of this lamp offers a TRIAC dimmable option.

How do I clean the stone?

Dust it with a dry soft cloth. Alabaster is soft and porous, so keep water, sprays and polish off it.

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.
