Is it bright enough to read by?

Yes, with a 60 W equivalent LED bulb. The narrow stone cone sends the light down in a focused pool, which is what a reading light needs.

How high should I mount it above a nightstand?

Mount the plate so the bottom of the cone sits about 20 to 24 inches above the mattress top, a little to the side of the pillow. The light then falls on the book and not on the other pillow.

Is the cone real stone?

Yes, yellow travertine. It has natural pores and slight color changes, so each cone differs a little.

What is the rope for?

It wraps the top of the cone where it meets the cord, hides the socket and adds a soft rustic detail against the stone.

Which bulb should I use?

A warm white E26 LED. A small globe or standard bulb fits inside the cone. The bulb is not included.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and switched from the wall.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
