An even circle looks the same from everywhere, which is restful and also inert. Break the radius and the fitting starts behaving like a sculpture: from one chair the ring is wide and heavy on the left, from the sofa opposite it narrows and the weight moves. Is the ring really irregular?

Yes. The outer edge swells and narrows as it goes round rather than holding one radius, so the outline you see changes with your position in the room. It is cut that way on purpose and it is not a variation between pieces.

What is the black line across the middle?

A metal arm that crosses the opening in a wave and carries the stem through to the stone. It gives the ring a center and it is the only dark element on the fitting, which is why it reads as a drawn line rather than as structure.

How far does it hang?

It sits close under the ceiling on a rigid stem of up to 19.7 inches. Tell us your ceiling height and we will give you the exact stem length for the size you want.

Which size over an island?

The 35 inch over a standard island, the 31 over a round dining table or in a seating group. Both are shallow, so neither one drops into the space where people stand and talk across a counter.

Can it be dimmed?

This model is not dimmable as built. Over a kitchen island that is usually acceptable, since the light is either on for work or off, but in a living room plan a second lower source for the evening.

Is the LED replaceable?

It is built into the ring rather than being a bulb you can change, so treat the fitting as one part. If long term servicing matters to you, tell us and we will go through it with you.

A Rigid Stem Holds an Uneven Shape at Exactly the Angle You Chose for It

This matters more here than on a symmetrical fitting. If the ring is heavier on one side of its circumference, a cable suspension will slowly find its own balance and turn the piece until the heavy part hangs where physics wants it, not where you wanted it. A rigid stem takes that decision away from gravity. You set the orientation during installation, deciding which part of the outline faces the room and which faces the wall, and it stays there. Walk around the fitting before the stem is tightened, because that one choice is what the piece looks like for good.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
