A Strip of Walnut Bent Into a Hook, With the Shade Hung Off Its Very Tip

Does it need an electrician?

It is a plug in model: about 150 cm of lead with an inline on and off switch and a plug on the end. Fix the wood arm to the wall, run the lead to an outlet and press the switch. Nothing goes into the wall and nothing is undone when you move.

Which shade should I choose?

It changes the whole piece. The white glass shapes keep it quiet and read closer to a country kitchen. The amber and the mottled amber warm the light itself and push the fitting toward the nineteen twenties. The scalloped rims are the most decorative of the five.

How far does it reach from the wall?

About 23 cm, since the arm hooks out before the shade drops. That is enough to hang the shade over the edge of a console or a nightstand rather than against the wall behind it, and enough to need clearance in a corridor.

Which lamp does it take?

An E26 or E27 lamp, not included. A warm 2700K filament lamp suits the period shape and shows through the clear and scalloped shades. A frosted LED is the quieter choice behind the white glass. Keep to the wattage marked on the fitting.

Can I hide the lead?

The photographs run it openly down the wall, which is how the piece is drawn. A cord cover or a channel will hide it if you prefer. Plan the fixing position from the outlet, since the lead cannot be shortened by us.

How do I clean it?

Let the lamp cool. Wash or wipe the glass shade with a barely damp cloth and dry it, taking the scalloped rims gently. Wipe the wood arm along the grain and buff the brass socket dry.

The arm and the brass are the same on all five, so the shade carries the whole character. Ribbed white glass is the quietest and reads closest to a country kitchen. How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
