This one adds a step: after casting in gypsum resin, each piece is carved by hand to cut those edges back in, then hand sanded to an even surface before the finish goes on. What is the difference between the two models?

The Bouquet clusters layered petals and leaves in a loose, gathered arrangement around the globe, and measures 11.4 in across by 7.5 in high. The Floral Crown is a single large bloom with deep radial ridges, more architectural and symmetrical, at 11.8 in across by 7.9 in high.

Why a G9 socket rather than E26 or E27?

G9 is a small two pin ceramic base used widely in European decorative fixtures, and it is physically incompatible with the screw bases most North American lamps use. It keeps the lamp small enough to sit inside a carved shade this size. G9 LED capsules at 12W are stocked online and by specialist retailers, so confirm availability in your market first.

What is gypsum resin composite?

A casting material that combines the fine surface detail of plaster with the structural durability of resin. It takes the mold crisply enough to hold petal veins and leaf margins, and it is hard enough afterwards to be hand carved and hand sanded without crumbling the way plaster alone would.

Will every fixture look identical?

No. Each one is individually hand carved and hand sanded after casting, so minor surface marks, texture variation and small imperfections occur between units. The maker considers these characteristic of hand finished work rather than manufacturing defects, and says so before you order.

What do the three finishes look like?

Ivory white is a matte warm off white with a subtle surface grain. Matte black is flat and deep, so in low ambient light the carving reads as shadow relief rather than as color. Gilded gold uses a layered gilding technique that leaves warm variation across the carved surface instead of a uniform metallic coat.

Can it be dimmed?

Possibly, and it needs checking first. The maker advises confirming that the fixture driver is compatible with Triac or trailing edge LED dimmers, and using a G9 LED capsule that is itself rated for dimming. Neither the dimmer nor the capsule is supplied, so both have to be sourced to match.

Ivory white is a matte warm off white with a faint grain, so the relief shows as soft shadow and the fixture stays quiet against a pale ceiling. Matte black absorbs almost everything, which means in low ambient light the shape is read entirely as shadow relief, with the opal globe floating beneath it. Gilded gold is applied in layers rather than sprayed flat, so the warmth varies across the carved surface and the high points catch light while the recesses stay dark. Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.
