Pushing light through natural stone looks beautiful and costs you most of the output. This fixture separates the two jobs. The travertine forms a band around the edge, which is the part of a flush mount the eye actually reads from across a room, and the light leaves through a slim acrylic diffuser in the middle, which is the part nobody looks at directly. The result is a fixture that gives the brightness figures of a panel light while presenting a quarried surface. Six diameters from 23 to 69 cm cover everything from a hallway to an open living room, and all of them keep the same 6.5 cm depth.

Which diameter should I choose?

The maker publishes a chart. 30 cm draws 28W and covers 5 to 8 m2. 39 cm draws 42W and covers 7 to 10 m2. 49 cm draws 48W and covers 10 to 15 m2. 59 cm draws 52W and covers 15 to 17 m2. The 23 cm and 69 cm sizes carry no published figures, so write to us before ordering one of those.

What is the difference from the square version?

The outline, and nothing else that matters. This is the round member of the same family, built from the same travertine band, the same jute rope trim and the same full spectrum LED, in the same six nominal sizes at the same 6.5 cm depth. The choice is whether the ceiling suits a circle or a square.

What does CRI 97 mean?

Color rendering index measures how accurately a light source reproduces color against daylight, on a scale that tops out at 100. This LED is rated 97, which is near the top. Most LED ceiling fixtures sold for homes sit between 80 and 90, where warm grays and natural timber tend to flatten out.

Is there a bulb to change?

No. The LED is integrated into the fixture and the maker states that the unit is replaced as a whole at end of life. That construction is what allows the whole assembly to stay 6.5 cm deep across every diameter, including the 69 cm version.

Why wrap rope around a stone fixture?

The jute is wound along the top edge of the travertine band, exactly where the stone meets the plaster. It hides the junction and introduces a second natural texture at the only visible seam, which is why the fixture reads as one object rather than as a stone ring screwed to a ceiling.

Will two fixtures look the same?

Not in the stone. Travertine is quarried, so the pores and veins in each band follow their own pattern and no two fixtures carry the same markings. The shape, the size and the light output are identical, and the maker treats the stone variation as part of the material.

Switch on a typical LED ceiling fixture at CRI 80 and some of those decisions quietly fall apart: the warm gray on the wall cools off, the oak floor loses its figure, a rust colored cushion goes brown. The full spectrum LED in this fixture is rated at 97 on the same scale, close enough to daylight that the room keeps its colors into the evening. That matters most in the spaces the maker lists for it, bedrooms and living rooms where textiles and timber carry the scheme, and it is the specification that separates this fixture from a plain stone ring.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
