Three and Five Lights Share One Width, So That Choice Is About Brightness

This is worth reading twice on the size table. The three light and the five light are both 60 cm across and both 38 cm tall. They take the same space on the ceiling and cast the same shadow on the wall. What changes is output and density: three shades leave visible gaps around the column, five close the ring. Is this an antique or a reproduction?

A new fitting in a traditional style. The wiring is current, it takes standard E26 or E27 lamps, and it carries current certifications. Nothing needs rebuilding before it goes up.

What is the shade made of?

Pleated fabric, etched over a small frame, one shade per arm. They are cream and plain, which is what keeps a traditional shape from reading fussy in a modern room.

Is the column real walnut?

The specification names walnut wood alongside metal and fabric. The tapered column and the drops at the arm tips are the wood parts; the arms, collar and canopy are metal in a gold finish.

Three lights, five or eight?

Three and five share the same 60 cm width, so that choice is about brightness rather than space. Eight at 80 cm is the one that needs a larger room or a longer table.

Which lamps suit it?

E26 or E27, one per arm, not included. A small frosted lamp suits the inside of a pleated shade. Warm white around 2700K keeps the cream fabric cream; a cooler lamp turns it gray.

How do I clean the pleated shades?

A soft brush worked along the folds rather than across them, and no water. Pleats hold dust in the valleys, so a light brush two or three times a year keeps them from going dull.

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
