The shade is the part that is made by hand: a broad flattened ring of amber tinted glass, 22 cm across, blown one piece at a time and closed at the top with a brass cap. That process leaves its marks, and they are worth knowing about rather than being surprised by, since tiny trapped air bubbles and small variations across the surface are normal on blown glass and not defects. Because the glass is tinted, it warms whatever passes through it, so the output leaves as a soft golden band around the circumference rather than a white pool below. Under it is a curved wood base in a walnut tone, narrow at the neck and swelling toward the foot, which gives the lamp its weight and its line. Two heights share that same shade: 25 cm for a nightstand, 32 cm for a console or a taller surface, and both carry the same integrated LED of about 12W.

Why does the glass have small bubbles in it?

Because it is blown by hand rather than pressed in a machine mold. Tiny trapped air bubbles and slight variations across the surface come with that process and are normal on blown glass. They are part of how the shade is made, not a defect.

Which height should I choose?

Both share the same 22 cm shade. The short one is 25 cm tall and suits a standard nightstand. The tall one is 32 cm and suits a console, a sideboard or a higher surface where the extra height keeps the shade closer to eye level.

What color temperature arrives?

Warm white 3000K as standard. Neutral 4000K and cool 6000K are also built for this lamp, so tell us which one you want and we will set it up that way. If nothing is said, expect 3000K.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated rather than a bulb in a socket, so there is nothing to unscrew. It is rated for a long service life, and if the module ever fails we can supply a compatible replacement so the lamp keeps working.

How does the amber glass change the light?

It warms it. The tint filters what passes through, so a 3000K source reads warmer and more golden than it would under clear glass, and the light spreads outward in a band rather than dropping straight down.

How do I clean it?

There is no socket and no bulb to buy. The light source is an integrated LED of about 12W, and the color temperature that ships as standard is warm white 3000K, the setting that pairs naturally with the amber tint of the glass. Because the LED is integrated there is nothing to unscrew if it ever fails; we can supply a compatible replacement module instead. The rest is deliberately simple: a 150 cm cord with an inline push button, no installation, no electrician, and a choice of two heights on the same 22 cm shade so the lamp can be matched to a nightstand at 25 cm or to a console at 32 cm.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
