Is the price for one ring or three?

One. Several photographs show three rings hung at different heights, which is three fittings on three ceiling points wired separately. If you want that arrangement, order three and tell us, and we will work through the spacing with you.

Why is the section round?

Because a flat face would give you a hard edge where the light stops. A round section has no edge, so the glow falls away gradually all the way round and the ring reads as a band of light rather than as a lit strip in a frame.

Will the veining match the photographs?

Every ring is cut from natural alabaster, so the pattern belongs to the piece you receive. Two of the photographs show the range, one pale and almost even, the other strongly marked. Yours will sit somewhere between them.

Can it be dimmed?

As built it holds one level. If dimming matters in the room, tell us and we will point you at a model in the same material that supports it rather than promise a change we cannot make.

Which diameter over a table?

The 31.4 inch over a round table seating six, the 23.6 over a four seat table, the 19.6 as a single light in a hall or a bedroom. A ring lights the area under it rather than spreading wide, so size it to the surface.

How much light does it give?

Write to us with the diameter you are looking at and we will send you the wattage and the output in writing for that one. Worth knowing either way: alabaster diffuses the light rather than directing it, so it reads softer than the same wattage behind clear glass.

Three Rings at Three Heights Is Three Fittings, and That Changes the Budget

The arrangement in several of these photographs is one of the most reproduced images in lighting, and it is also the one most often misread. It is not a product. It is three separate rings, usually in two or three diameters, hung at different drops from three ceiling points and wired separately. Done well it is the strongest thing this fitting can do in a room with height, because the rings overlap as you move and the composition changes. Done without planning it reads as clutter.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
