A chandelier over a dining table is judged by width. This one is judged by drop. At six sheets it is 5.2 feet tall and behaves like a normal fitting above a table. Which length for a stairwell?

Measure from the ceiling of the upper floor to the point where you want the lowest sheet to stop, usually just above head height on the top landing. Then pick the length that fits and keep the cable slack for adjustment.

How long is the drop on the 25 sheet version?

Write to us and we will send you the drop in writing for the version you want. On a stairwell the drop is the whole decision, so it is worth one message: the fitting is designed to be seen from the landing above as well as from the hall below, and the cascade only reads properly when it falls across both.

How heavy is it?

One figure, 34 lbs, is quoted across a range that runs from six sheets to twenty five, which cannot hold. Write to us with your length and we will send you the real weight, because a ceiling box has a rated load.

Can the sheets be rearranged?

Yes. Each sheet hangs on its own cable and the cables are set at different lengths, so you can adjust individual sheets to spread the cascade wider or tighten it into a column. Do that once the fitting is up.

Can it go over a bath or outside?

Indoor dry locations only. The rating is IP20, and nothing about this fitting is sealed against damp, so keep it away from a bath and off an exterior wall.

Are the LEDs replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the fitting, so there is no lamp to change. When it ends, the fitting is replaced rather than relamped.

Each Sheet Is Lit From Its Edge, So the Acrylic Glows and the Frame Does Not

The light does not come from a bulb hidden inside a shade. It is fed into the edge of each acrylic sheet, which makes the sheet itself the bright object while the cable and the canopy stay dark. Two things follow. From below you see a set of floating curved planes rather than a fixture, which is why the cascade reads well in a stairwell where people look at it from the side. And the light is soft, because no single point is bright, so a long version can hang in a living room without glaring at anyone on the sofa.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
