A Tapered Spindle Rather Than a Shade, Which Is Why a Row of Them Does Not Block the Room
Most pendants are a shade on a wire. This one is a single piece of glass drawn out into a spindle, wide at the middle and tapering at both ends, with the bulb sitting in the belly where the glass is thickest. Because the silhouette is narrow, six of them in a row read as a line of light rather than a wall of shades, which is what makes the arrangement work over a long table or down a stairwell. Four glass tints are offered and two sizes, 18.1 or 22 inches tall, and they are made to be mixed.
