The bulbs sit behind three overlapping tiers of polished gold blades rather than in front of them. Light leaks out through the gaps between the tiers and runs down the long crystal prisms set between the blades, so what you see is a series of bright edges rather than a single source. The effect is closest to a lit sculpture and furthest from a lamp. It also means the fitting throws very little light into the room itself: this is a piece for a wall you want to look at, not for a wall you need to read beside.

How many bulbs does it take?

E14 candelabra sockets. Write to us with the piece you want and we will send you the socket count, which decides both the running cost and the output.

How heavy is it?

At 31.5 inches with steel blades and crystal prisms it is not light. Write to us before you specify the fixings and we will send you the weight in writing so your installer can pick the right anchors.

Is it bright enough to light a room?

Most of the output is caught by the blades and the prisms, so it reads as a lit object rather than a source. Plan a lamp or a ceiling fitting for the working light in that room.

Which wall color suits it?

A dark or deeply colored wall. Polished gold blades hold their edges against a dark ground and the layering reads clearly. Against white the tiers flatten and the piece loses most of its depth.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs from a wall switch. Given the size and the unconfirmed weight, have the fixings and the box checked before the fitting arrives.

Can it go in a bathroom?

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
