Most natural stone ceiling fixtures put the stone where the light passes through, which limits how much output ever reaches the room. This one does the opposite. The travertine forms a rounded corner square frame around the edge, and the light leaves through a slim acrylic diffuser in the middle, so the fixture gives the brightness of a flat panel while the material you actually look at is quarried stone. The jute rope wound along the top edge covers the join with the ceiling. Six sizes run from 23 to 69 cm square at a constant 6.5 cm depth, so the stone frame scales up without the fixture ever dropping further into the room.

Which size fits my room?

The maker publishes a chart. 30 cm draws 24W and covers 5 to 8 m2. 38 cm draws 32W and covers 7 to 10 m2. 48 cm draws 48W and covers 10 to 15 m2. 58 cm draws 58W and covers 15 to 17 m2. The 23 cm and 69 cm sizes were added later without figures, so write to us before ordering either one.

What does CRI 97 mean here?

Color rendering index measures how accurately a light source shows color against daylight, on a scale that ends at 100. At 97 the LED in this fixture sits near the top of that scale, so fabric, wood and skin tones read close to how they look in daylight. Most residential LEDs ship between 80 and 90.

Why is there rope on a stone fixture?

The jute rope is wound along the top edge of the travertine frame, where the stone meets the ceiling. It softens the join between a hard mineral surface and flat plaster, and it adds a second natural texture at the one point on the fixture where the eye expects a seam.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The light source is integrated into the fixture and the maker states that the unit is replaced as a whole at end of life. There is no socket and no bulb to change. LED modules of this type are generally rated for tens of thousands of hours of normal use.

How deep is it?

Every size stands 2.6 in or 6.5 cm from the plaster, from the smallest to the largest. That constant depth is what lets the 69 cm version work in a room with a standard ceiling, because the fixture gains width without gaining any drop.

Will the stone pattern match the photograph?

The outline will, the markings will not. Travertine forms over geological time and every block carries its own pores and veins, so the frame on your fixture has a pattern of its own. The photographs show one representative piece rather than the exact frame that ships.

Most LED ceiling fixtures sold for homes land between 80 and 90, which is enough to see by and enough to make a warm gray paint read cold or a walnut floor read flat. Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
