A Tall Body, Because Height Is What Makes a Lantern Read
Most post lanterns are wider than they are tall, which is why they read as caps rather than as lanterns. This one is the other way around: 15.7 or 19.7 inches high on a footprint of 7.9 or 9.8 inches square, so the proportion is that of a carriage lantern rather than a box. Ribbed clear glass, a pagoda roof carrying the cell, a turned finial and a stepped base. Two glazing styles at the same price, one plain and one with arched bars. Aluminum, solar only, IP65, integrated LED at warm light.
