The whole lamp is a single piece: a curved blade of wood cut as a leaning triangle, solid and grained on the outer face, hollowed on the inner face and closed with a white translucent panel that lights up. Seen from one side it is a plain wooden object. Seen from the other it is a glowing sail. Nothing projects from it, so there is no shade to align, no socket on show and no switch dangling on a cord. Because the lit face is angled, the output travels up and sideways and washes the corner of a room rather than dropping a bright circle onto the table, which is what makes it easy to leave on late. How much room does it take?

Which way does the light face?

Out of the hollow inner face, so it goes up and sideways rather than straight down. That fills a corner of a room with a soft wash instead of putting a bright circle on the table, which is what makes it comfortable to leave on late.

What does stepless dimming mean?

That the brightness runs smoothly through the whole range instead of stepping between fixed levels. Hold the touch switch and it travels from a low overnight glow up to enough light to read by, stopping wherever you lift your finger.

Wipe the wood with a barely damp cloth following the grain and dry it at once. The white acrylic inner face takes a soft dry cloth only, since solvents cloud acrylic permanently and abrasives scratch it, and both show badly on a surface that lights up.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
