The waved aluminum gives the fitting its shape, but almost all of the light you see is coming off the chain. Are the lamps supplied?

This is one of two fittings in the range where the bulbs are not included. It takes ten E14 lamps, so order them with the fitting or it arrives dark.

Why is no weight given?

Because the figure printed for it reads 8.8 lbs and 94 kg in the same line, and three figures cover four sizes. Write to us with your size and we will send you the real weight rather than repeat that.

Is the large one brighter than the small?

One output, 100W, is printed for all four sizes, which would mean no. A 39 inch fitting and a 16 inch fitting do not share one output, so write to us and we will send you the real figure for the size you want.

How does the chain behave?

It hangs in soft curtains and moves slightly in a draft, which is most of the appeal. It also collects dust, so plan on a soft brush once or twice a year. Do not run a vacuum near it.

Which size for a staircase?

The two large sizes. At 39 inches wide and 51 inches tall the biggest is built to be seen from a landing above as well as from the hall below. The 16 inch is a normal ceiling fitting.

Silver or gold?

Silver keeps the chain reading as a veil and stays cool against pale walls. Gold turns the same tiers into a warm mass and pulls the fitting toward classic. Gold also costs slightly more at every size.

Four Sizes That Change Height Faster Than They Change Width on This Model

From the smallest to the largest the width goes from 16 to 39 inches, which is a lot. The height goes from 26 to 51 inches, which is more. That matters because a tiered fitting with chain below it is judged from the side: what you notice walking into the room is how far it falls, not how wide it spreads. In a room with an eight foot ceiling the largest size would end near head height in the middle of the floor. Measure the drop you have before you pick on width alone.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
