Which arm style should I choose?

Style A curves out 14.6 inches for a bedside or a chair. Style B has the same reach with a scroll that tilts the shade upward. Style C pulls back to 11.8 inches, which suits a hallway where a deep fitting gets knocked.

Does the pierced pattern really show on the wall?

Yes, once the bulb is on and the room is not brightly lit. A clear or compact globe bulb puts sharp points of light on the plaster. A heavily frosted bulb softens them, so the bulb choice changes the effect more than the shade does.

Which bulb fits inside the shade?

One E26 bulb, 40 watts maximum, not included. A compact G45 globe LED at 2700K to 3000K fits the space and keeps the ceramic warm. A large A19 bulb can crowd the opening on the smaller arms.

Will two shades look the same?

Close, not identical. The ceramic is shaped and glazed by hand, so the glaze tone, the texture and the edge of each piercing vary a little. Mounted as a pair that reads as craft rather than as a defect.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs from a wall switch. There is no cord and no switch on the fitting, so the supply has to be in place before it is mounted.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, with no protection against water. The piercings also let steam straight into the shade and around the socket, which is a problem well before the glaze is affected.

Style A is a simple curve that reaches 14.6 inches, which is the version for a bedside or a chair. You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
