The Beam Has a History and the Marks on It Are the Whole Point
The body of this fitting is a single weathered beam hung on two chains, with black cage lamps dropping from it on hemp rope and trailing foliage tucked along its length. The beam carries its own surface: splits, saw marks and the color that only comes from age. That is what separates it from a new timber bar cut to look old. Three lengths are offered, 27.5, 43.3 and 59 inches, all of them 23.6 inches deep, so the fitting grows along the table rather than down into the room.
