Does the remote work through a room?

It runs across a normal bedroom without needing to be pointed carefully, so you can dim the light from the far side of the bed or switch it off after you have settled. The touch switch on the foot still works as usual if the remote goes missing.

Which way up should it be mounted?

Foot down is the usual choice beside a bed, since it puts the switch within reach. Foot up makes the tube read taller on a narrow wall, and mounted on its side above a headboard it becomes a soft bar of light across the whole bed.

How long does the battery last?

Around 12 to 15 hours on a low setting, which is unusually long for a fitting this size, and roughly 3 to 4 hours at full output. Charging over USB takes about 3 hours from the port in the foot.

Is the light harsh to look at?

The frosting is what prevents that. The diodes sit inside the tube and the acrylic scatters everything they put out, so even at full brightness you see a glowing column rather than hot points, which matters when the fitting is at eye level beside a pillow.

Which finish suits a dark bedroom?

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?
