A Perforated Drum That Prints Its Own Pattern on the Ground
The body is a drum of metal punched with a close grid of holes and wrapped in rattan, and the whole point is what happens to the light on its way out. Each hole throws a small spot, so the lantern casts a field of pattern onto the paving or the grass around it instead of a flat pool. A slim ring handle rises from the top. Three sizes run from 6.4 to 14.2 inches across, in black or white with natural rattan. Stainless steel and rattan, solar only, IP65, integrated LED at warm light.
