A Quatrefoil Is Four Arcs, and Here They Are Cut From Solid Wood
The quatrefoil is an old architectural motif, four arcs meeting at four points, and it usually turns up carved into stone or cut into a window. Here it is the whole fitting: curved wooden staves in an aged white finish, joined top and bottom, with a single lamp hanging inside the open frame. At 15.7 inches across and the same tall it is deliberately small, which is what makes it useful in pairs and threes along a kitchen island rather than as one central piece.
