How long does the battery last?

About 12 hours at full brightness and up to 36 hours at the low setting. A full charge takes roughly 4 hours through the USB-C port in the edge of the base, and the charging cable is included.

Can I leave it plugged in and use it as a normal lamp?

Yes. It runs while charging, so it can sit on a permanent cable if you prefer. The point of the battery is that it does not have to, which is what lets it move to a dinner table or a balcony chair.

How bright is it?

Low. The acrylic cap is small and the output is set for atmosphere, not for reading. Think of it as a candle replacement on a table or a soft light on a nightstand rather than a task lamp.

Can it go outside?

Only under cover and only in dry weather. It carries an IP20 rating, which means it is not sealed against water, so it belongs on a covered terrace at most and comes back indoors at night.

Is there a bulb inside?

How do I clean it?

Wipe the acrylic cap with a soft dry cloth once it has cooled, since acrylic scratches more easily than glass. Wipe the wood dish along the grain with a barely damp cloth and dry it at once, keeping water away from the charging port.

Full output holds for about 12 hours, and the low setting stretches to roughly 36, which means a lamp charged on Friday will still be running on Sunday evening if you keep it low. How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
