Which bulb does it take?

One E26 bulb, LED or filament, not included. A 2700K LED bulb gives a warm, even glow through the frosted glass.

Is it suited to an open patio?

Yes. It is rated IP65, dust tight and protected against water jets, so rain on an open patio wall is fine. Do not submerge it.

How big is it?

13 inches tall with about 9.8 inches of projection from the wall. It suits a patio door, a side entry or a gate pillar. For a wide front door, a pair looks balanced.

Why frosted glass?

Frosted glass hides the bulb and spreads the light, so the lantern glows rather than glares. It keeps a seating area comfortable to sit in.

How high should I mount it?

Beside a door, place the center of the lantern about 66 inches above the step. On a gate pillar, keep it near the top so the light falls on the gate and the path.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to an outdoor rated junction box and runs from a wall switch.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
