The Mirrored Ring Doubles the Stone, Which Is Why a Small Piece Reads Large

A 7.8 inch fitting is small for a hallway wall. What keeps this one from disappearing is the polished inner face of the ring: it catches the glow from the alabaster bowl and reflects it back around the circle, so the lit area reads as the whole ring rather than as the bowl alone. The beaded outer rim then catches a second, harder highlight and gives the edge definition against the plaster. The result is a piece that holds a wall at a size where a plain bowl on a plate would look lost.

How big is it and how far does it project?

7.8 inches round and 5.5 inches from the wall. That is compact enough for a hallway where people pass close, and small enough to run in a row of three along a corridor.

Which bulb does it take?

One G9 bi pin LED bulb, not included. A 2700K to 3000K bulb keeps the alabaster warm. A cooler bulb pulls the stone gray and loses most of what the material is there for.

Will two of them match?

Close, but not identical. The bowls are cut from natural alabaster, so veining and tone vary. If you want a matched run, tell us and we will ask for pieces selected together.

Is it bright enough on its own?

It is an accent rather than a source. One G9 bulb behind stone gives a warm glow and a lit ring, not working light. In a hallway a row of three does the job that a single unit would not.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs from a wall switch. The plate is round and compact, so confirm the box size with your electrician before the install.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, with no protection against water. Alabaster is porous and marks permanently from steam, and an open bowl collects that moisture around the socket.

Carved From Natural Stone, So the Bowl You Receive Has Its Own Pattern

The half bowl is cut from natural alabaster, which means the veining, the density and the tone are decided by the block it came from rather than by a finish specification. Lit, those differences show clearly, because the light passes through the stone rather than bouncing off it. Two of these mounted along a hallway will glow at slightly different warmths and carry different markings.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
