This comes in one size and that size is large. Plan the room that way rather than fighting it. Put it centered over the bed or the seating group, give it clear space on all sides so the ellipse of the rings reads, and do not try to pair it with a second ceiling fitting in the same room. It will not share the space.

How many lamps does it take?

Four, E26 or E27, not included. Each one sits inside a white opal globe, so nothing of the lamp shows. A plain warm white LED around 2700K is the sensible choice.

Are the rings real wood?

Yes. It is built from metal, glass and wood, and the two crossed rings are the wood parts in a dark tone. The stem and canopy are brass finished metal.

Why is it only one size?

At that width it is a room fitting rather than a table fitting, and it is meant to be the one object on the ceiling.

How heavy is it?

About 20 kg. Check that your ceiling junction box is rated for that load, and plan on a licensed electrician plus a second pair of hands to hold the rings while it is wired.

Will it light a bedroom on its own?

It sets the level of the room well, and the photographs still show table lamps beside the bed. Opal glass gives a soft even output rather than a bright pool, so keep a reading light at the bedside.

How do I clean the globes?

Let the lamps cool, unscrew one globe at a time and wash in warm water with a little detergent. Dry fully before refitting. Wipe the wood rings along the grain and buff the brass stem dry.

About 20 kg is well beyond what a standard ceiling rose is rated for, so the junction box and the structure behind it need checking, not assuming. Two people are needed at the install, one holding the rings while the other wires, and the globes go on last so nothing is carrying glass while it is being lifted. None of that is a reason to avoid the fitting, it is a reason to book the electrician properly. Once it is up, the same weight is why the wide rings hang dead level rather than flexing.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
