Modern floor lamp for living room ambient lighting

Modern Sculptural Black Floor Lamp Brings an Artistic Glow to Living Rooms

This standing lamp reads more like a small sculpture than a fixture, its curved black frame twisting from base to shade in one continuous artistic line. Set it beside a reading chair, in a bare living room corner, or next to the bed, and the fabric shade throws a soft, even glow that softens the whole room after dark. The silhouette is deliberately quiet so it pairs with mid-century, modern, or eclectic decor without fighting other pieces. At Dia 25 cm by H 160 cm, roughly 9.8 inches wide and 63 inches tall, it has enough presence to anchor a seating area while staying narrow enough to tuck beside furniture. The weighted base keeps it steady on hardwood or rug alike, and the flexible head lets you angle the light toward a book, a chair, or straight up for ambient wash.

Questions about this product

Everything you need to know about this product.

How big is this floor lamp and where does it fit best?

It measures Dia 25 cm by H 160 cm, about 9.8 inches wide and 63 inches tall. That height suits a living room corner beside a sofa or reading chair, a bedroom nook next to the bed, or an empty spot along a hallway. Its narrow footprint means it will not crowd nearby furniture, while its height still lets it act as a real style statement in the room.

Will it look the same as the photos in person?

Yes. The frame is genuinely finished in matte black metal with a soft fabric shade, matching the sculptural silhouette shown in the listing photos. Screen colors can shift slightly device to device, but the black finish, the curved shape, and the fabric texture are accurately represented and are not a printed or painted illusion.

How do I install this lamp, does it need wall mounting?

This is a floor lamp, so there is nothing to mount. Stand it upright on a flat, stable surface, plug the cord into any nearby wall outlet, and it is ready to switch on. It is a freestanding lamp only and is not made for a ceiling or wall installation.

How do I clean and care for the fabric and metal finish?

Dust the metal frame with a soft, dry cloth, and use a slightly damp cloth for smudges, drying it right after. For the fabric shade, a soft brush or the low setting on a handheld vacuum lifts dust without crushing the texture. This lamp carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is built for indoor use only and should be kept away from moisture.

What bulb does it use, and can it be dimmed?

It takes a GU10 bulb and runs on AC 110 to 240V household current, with a selectable 3000K, 4000K, or 6000K color temperature so you can match warm or cooler light to your room. The fixture itself does not include a built-in dimmer, so if you want adjustable brightness, choose a dimmable GU10 bulb along with a compatible wall dimmer.

What are shipping and returns like?

Shipping is free with no minimum purchase required. Your lamp is prepared for dispatch within 1 to 2 business days, and you will receive a tracking link once it ships. If it is not the right fit, you have a full 30 day return window starting from delivery, and our support team replies to any questions within 2 business days.

Sculptural floor lamp fabric shade close-up

Fabric and Metal Floor Lamp, Plug In Anywhere, No Wiring or Electrician Needed

Up close the shade is a soft fabric layer over a sturdy black metal armature, so the finish stays matte rather than glossy. A dry or barely damp microfiber cloth keeps the metal clean, and a soft brush lifts dust from the shade without flattening its texture. Setup is simple: stand it upright, plug the cord into any standard indoor outlet, and it is ready to use, no wiring or electrician required. It runs on a GU10 bulb across AC 110 to 240V, with a selectable 3000K, 4000K, or 6000K color temperature, 3000K as the default warm tone. To dim it, pair it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch.
