Most wall lights ask for room. A shade spreads, an arm reaches, and both need clearance you do not always have beside a bed pushed near a corner or over a desk that already carries a screen. This one is a stone tube 5 cm across on a plate 3 cm wide. It takes the strip of wall a switch plate would take and gives back a beam you can aim. Above a bed that means reading light for one person without lighting the other. Over a desk it means a pool on the page instead of a glare on the screen. In a hallway it means a warm mark every few steps rather than a row of fittings you have to walk around. The size is the feature, not a compromise made to hit a price.

How small is it really?

The head is 5 cm across and 17 cm long and the plate behind it is 17 x 3 cm. On a wall it occupies about the space of a light switch turned sideways, which is why it works beside a bed, over a desk or in a narrow hallway where a shaded fitting would crowd.

Can I aim the light?

Yes. The head tilts on the arm, so the beam goes up the wall for a soft wash or down onto a book or a work surface. Set it once at installation or move it as the use of the corner changes.

Is there a bulb to buy?

The LED is built in and fixed at a warm 3000K, which is why the head can be this narrow. Nothing to source and nothing to replace during normal use.

How is it switched?

Two ways. A small button switch sits on the fitting itself, and the piece also answers to a common wall switch on the circuit, which is not included. The button is the useful one beside a bed.

Will the stone match the photographs?

Close, not identical. Travertine forms with voids and color banding, so the pitting and the tone shift from one tube to the next. That variation is the material rather than a fault.

How do I clean it?

Let it cool. Dust the stone dry and lift marks with a barely damp cloth, drying at once, and keep acidic cleaners off it. Wipe the wood arm along the grain.

Yellow Travertine, Which Is Why No Two of These Stone Heads Ever Look Alike

The head is cut from yellow travertine, a stone laid down in layers around mineral springs, which is why it comes out of the block full of small voids and soft color banding. Nothing is added to it and nothing is filled. The consequence for you is simple: the tube you receive has its own pitting and its own run of tone, close to the photographs but not a copy of them. Lit, the stone reads warmer still, since the light leaves the open end and grazes the rim on its way out. The wood arm is offered in walnut, which sets a dark edge against the pale stone, or in a lighter wood that keeps the whole fitting in one quiet register. Both use the same brass collar at the joint.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
