A Short Bar Is the Right Answer When the Framed Piece Below It Is Small

Scale is the part people get wrong with picture lights. A long bar over a small framed print lights the wall on both sides of it and makes the picture look like an afterthought. At 15.7 inches this one is sized for a single modest piece: a framed landscape over a console, a print in a gallery wall, a small mirror. The 3W output matches that scale rather than fighting it, so the picture is lit and the room around it stays dark, which is what makes a lit picture read as lit. Use it where you want one thing to glow, and take a longer bar where you want a whole wall to.

Which charger can I use?

A plain 5V adapter rated at 2A or less, a laptop USB port or a power bank. Avoid fast chargers: Quick Charge, USB Power Delivery and similar standards are unsupported and can damage the cell. The cable in the box with an ordinary adapter is the safe combination.

Is 3W bright enough?

For one framed piece, a mirror or a shelf, yes, and that is what the size is for. It is an accent light, not a room light. If you want to wash a wide wall or light a large canvas evenly, take a longer bar with a higher wattage rather than expecting this one to stretch.

How is it controlled?

By a wireless remote from anywhere in the room, or by touching the body. Both handle on, off and stepless dimming, and the remote also moves between the warm, neutral and cool settings. A timer switches the bar off on its own, which is what keeps the cell from emptying overnight.

Does it need wiring or an outlet?

Neither. The cell powers it and the mounting is screws or adhesive, so nothing is cut into the wall and nothing hangs down it. That is what makes it work in a rented room, in a dorm, or on a chimney breast with no supply anywhere near the art.

Will it light a deep frame?

It projects 7.5 inches, which is generous for a bar this short and clears most ordinary frames. A very thick or deep frame will still shade its own face, so measure from the wall to the front of the frame.

How long does a charge last?

About 4 hours of continuous light at a normal brightness. Dimming extends it, full output shortens it. Used as an accent light switched on for an evening rather than left on all day, that works out at several evenings between charges.

Read the Charging Note Before You Plug It In, Because This One Has a Real Limit

Most rechargeable fittings say nothing about which adapter to use, and this one is unusually direct: a 5V supply rated at 2A or less, no fast charging of any kind. In practice that means the cable in the box plus an ordinary phone adapter, a laptop port or a power bank, and not the fast charger sitting on the desk next to it. It is a small habit to form, and it is the difference between a cell that lasts and one that does not.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
