A Melon Shade in Milk Glass, Mounted Close Enough to the Ceiling to Clear a Low Room
The shade is blown as a melon, ribbed from the top down, in milk white or a deep bottle green. It is 15 inches across and carries a cast brass plate at the ceiling with a leaf pattern pressed into it, which is the detail that stops the piece reading as plain. The rod comes in two 5.9 inch sections that combine, so the drop is either short enough to count as a close ceiling fitting or long enough to hang properly over a kitchen island. An E27 LED bulb is in the carton.
