The Bars Are Not Aligned, Which Is Why This Reads as a Mobile
Two lacquered wood bars cross above the glass and a third sits below them, each carrying globes on drops of different lengths. Nothing lines up, and that is the point: from a chair you read a balanced composition in space rather than a row of lamps. The globes are white opal glass, the same material sold as milk glass in lighting, so the lamp inside never shows. Four heads at 12W or six at 18W, in black walnut or dark red mahogany.
