Is the walnut version made of wood?

It is a wood tone applied to metal, with brass and acrylic in the build. We would rather say that here than let the name imply a timber. The pine bar in this range is the one that is actually wood.

Which width for my mirror?

About half to two thirds of the glass. A 24 to 30 inch mirror takes the 15.7 inch bar, a 32 to 36 inch mirror the 21.7 inch bar, a 40 to 48 inch mirror the 27.5 inch bar. Power follows width, about 7W, 11W and 13W.

Walnut tone or brass?

Same price, so it is about the room. The brass version is the one photographed in green tile, marble and library settings, where it sits with warm metal. The walnut tone reads softer and quieter, and it works where there is already wood on the vanity or the console and a second bright metal would be one too many.

Is it dimmable?

As sold it holds one level. A single warm light on a common wall switch is what the order options offer, and the LED is integrated, so dimming cannot be introduced later by changing a lamp.

Can it light a framed picture?

It can, and the photography shows it over a framed landscape and a bookcase. The arm is short, so keep it to frames of modest depth. For a deep gilt frame, the twin arm and jointed arm fittings in this range reach much further from the wall.

Can it go in a bathroom?

On a dry wall above the mirror, yes, and that is most of the photography. IP20 means no water protection, so keep it clear of the shower and of spray.

Two Finishes at the Same Price, Aimed at Two Very Different Kinds of Room

The brass version is the louder of the two. The walnut tone does the opposite job. It quiets the fitting down, so above a wood vanity or a walnut console the bar joins the furniture rather than adding a fourth material to the wall. Both are the same shape, the same three widths and the same warm output, so nothing about performance depends on this choice. Look at what is already on the wall and on the counter, and pick the one that adds the least.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
