How long is the bar?

It is a slim brass tube made to sit above a standard vanity mirror. Write to us with the width you have over yours and we will send you the exact length in writing, because an inch either way is what decides whether it centers cleanly on the frame.

Will it work in a child's room?

There is no lamp to break, no glass and no exposed hot surface, and the light is warm rather than clinical, which is the right end of the scale for a bedtime room.

Can I dim it?

As supplied it holds one level. The order carries one fixed warm output with no dimming build. In a child's room that is worth thinking about, because a fixed bar is either on or off and a lamp on a dimmer is often the kinder second light beside it.

Which finish should I take?

Gold for a room with warm brassware and gilt frames. Bronze where the timber is dark and the walls are warm. Black where the frames, handles and tapware are already dark. All three carry the same slim profile, so the decision is only about which metal the room already contains.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired, with a supply and a box behind the canopy and the switch on the wall. The canopy is small, 3.9 by 2 inches, so check that it covers the existing box opening before the old fitting comes down.

Can it go in a bathroom?

The rating is IP20, which is no protection against water, so keep it clear of the shower and of direct spray and wipe condensation off rather than letting it dry on the metal.

One Slim Brass Tube Over the Mirror, Sized to the Width You Actually Have

The bar is a plain brass tube with a small canopy, and its job is to sit above a mirror without competing with it. Width is the only decision that really matters here: too short and it looks lost over a wide mirror, too long and it overhangs the frame and the eye goes straight to the overhang. So write to us with the width above your mirror and we will send you the exact length in writing, and the bar lands centered and proportioned the first time. Everything else is already settled: an integrated LED, a warm light, and a canopy small enough to disappear against the wall.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
