The Panel Sits Back Inside the Shell, and That Is What Removes the Glare

Two fixtures can put out the same light and feel completely different in a garden. A flush lit face is visible from anywhere in front of it, so every seat, window and gate on that side has a bright rectangle in the view. Recess the same panel a couple of inches into a dark shell and the shell becomes a shade: it cuts the sightline from above and from both sides, so the glow is only visible close to the axis and what everyone else sees is a dark body with light on the ground around it. The output on the path is unchanged. What disappears is the part that was never useful.

Why recess the panel?

To keep the source out of the view. A flush panel is visible from every angle in front of it, which is fine on a wall and poor in a garden. Set back inside the shell, the glow is only seen from close to the axis.

Which heights work together?

All three, and mixing them is the point. Use the 29.5 inch where planting is tall, the 17.7 inch along open paving and the 11.8 inch at a step or a bed edge where anything taller would dominate.

Is there a wired option?

On this model, solar only. It is solar only, with the cell in the cap and a rechargeable cell inside the body, which is what lets it stand in the middle of a bed with nothing run to it.

How is it controlled?

A dusk sensor brings it on and a handheld remote covers manual control. On a fixture standing out in a border that matters, because there is no switch within reach of it.

Is there anything to install?

No cable and no wiring. The base is drilled for a fixing where the spot is exposed, and otherwise the body simply stands where it is set on the ground or on paving.

How does it handle weather?

The rating is IP65, dust tight and proof against water jets from every side, so rain and sprinklers are fine. Do not immerse it. Keep the cap clear so the cell charges through the season.

These three share the same 7.9 inch footprint and the same recessed detail, so they hold together as one family, and they stand at 11.8, 17.7 and 29.5 inches, which is enough difference to let the run respond to what is actually beside it. Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
