The 1920s Globe Sconce, Wired to a Plug
Not every wall has a junction box, and not every lease allows one. This is the ribbed globe sconce in a plug-in build: a curved gold or chrome arm, a white or beige ribbed glass globe, and a 59 inch cord that runs down to any outlet. An inline switch and a pull cord turn it on and off. It takes a standard E26 bulb. Mount the plate with two screws, plug it in, and a bedside or a reading chair has its own light in minutes.
