How does the color temperature change?

With the wall switch. The fixture has three settings built into the LED, and turning it off and on again moves to the next one: warm white at 3000K, neutral white at 4000K, then cool white at 6000K. No remote, no app and no separate driver are involved, and nothing has to be chosen at the time of the order.

Which setting suits which room?

Warm white at 3000K is the evening setting for a bedroom or a living room. Neutral white at 4000K reads clean in a home office or a dressing area with daylight. Cool white at 6000K is the brightest of the three and suits a task, a workshop corner or a quick job in a utility room.

How deep is it?

2.7 in or 7 cm in both sizes, which is as shallow as a fixture of this width gets. The rings sit almost against the plaster, so the 65 cm version covers a large area of ceiling without taking any usable height out of the room. That suits a standard eight foot ceiling.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The light source is integrated into the fixture rather than fitted into a socket, so there is no bulb to change and the module is not a user serviceable part. That construction is what allows three lit rings inside an assembly only 7 cm deep, and LED modules of this type run for tens of thousands of hours.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No, it cannot. The maker rates the fixture IP20, damp rated and not waterproof, for indoor use only, so a bathroom or a shower room falls outside it. A bedroom, a living room, a home office or a hallway is the kind of dry room the fixture is built for.

What is the hammered finish for?

It scatters reflections. A smooth gold surface on a ceiling mirrors every lamp and window in the room, which is distracting on a fixture this wide. The hammered texture breaks each reflection into small points instead, so the brass reads as a warm surface with depth rather than as a bright mirror overhead.

Most ceiling fixtures with an integrated LED fix the color temperature at the factory, which means choosing between warm and cool before you have seen the fixture in the room. This one carries all three. Switching it off and on again steps through warm white at 3000K, neutral white at 4000K and cool white at 6000K, so a bedroom can run warm in the evening and neutral while someone works at a desk in it. Nothing extra is needed: no remote, no smart hub, no dimmer module. How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?
