This is 48.8 inches wide, 68 inches high and about 44 pounds of resin, metal and crystal cantilevered off a vertical surface. Drywall anchors are not enough. It needs studs or solid masonry with fixings rated for the load, and the fixing positions have to line up with the frame rather than with whatever is convenient. Settle that with whoever is mounting it before the piece arrives, not after. Handled properly it stays where it is put for as long as the wall does. Handled casually it is the most expensive hole you will ever make.

How is it mounted safely?

Into studs or solid masonry with anchors rated for the weight, never into plasterboard alone. At about 44 pounds cantilevered off a wall, the fixing plan should be agreed before the piece is delivered.

How many bulbs does it take?

E14 candle bulbs. Write to us with the piece you want and we will send you the socket count, so you buy bulbs once rather than twice.

Are there photographs of the chrome versions?

Only of the gold chandelier, on the white and the black giraffe. For either chrome version, write to us and we will send you an image of current stock before you decide.

Will it light the room?

Candle bulbs behind crystal drops give atmosphere rather than working light, so the room still needs its own plan. Treat this as a large piece of wall art that happens to be lit.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs from a wall switch. The box position has to be coordinated with the fixings, which is a second reason to plan the install in advance.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, with no protection against water. Resin, metal and cut crystal in a room that fills with steam is a maintenance problem on a piece this size.

The giraffe head and neck are cast in fiberglass reinforced resin, and the chandelier of candle arms and cut crystal drops hangs from the mouth. Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
