Hot Bent Glass Gives a Globe With No Seam, So the Surface Lights Evenly All Over
A globe shade lives or dies on its surface, since any seam or thin patch shows the moment the lamp goes on. This one is bent from a single piece of frosted glass, so the whole sphere lights at the same strength and reads as a solid ball of light rather than a shade with a bright spot in it. Two sizes are made, 9.8 inches and 14.6, and they are built to be mixed: a group of three at different widths and heights is how the maker shows them.
