How far does it stand from the wall?

It sits flush, with the crown and the crystal tiers held within a shallow depth. That is what lets it work in a narrow hallway or beside a mirror where an arm mounted fitting would be in the way.

Can I dim this wall lamp?

Yes, with dimmable bulbs on a compatible dimmer switch, neither of which is included. Dimmed, the drops settle into a warm shimmer instead of flashing at full output.

How many bulbs does it take?

Two E14 candelabra size bulbs, 15 watts maximum each, not included. Two sockets rather than one is what keeps the sparkle spread across the tiers instead of concentrated in one spot.

Are small marks inside the drops normal?

Yes. The drops are cut and polished crystal glass, and tiny bubbles or fine internal lines occur in the material. They show only at close range and do not change the way the light breaks up.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs from a wall switch. There is no cord or plug, so the supply has to reach the mounting point before the fitting goes up.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, with no protection against water. Tiers of crystal drops in a steamy room also film over and need cleaning by hand, one drop at a time, which nobody keeps up with.

Two Bulbs Sit Behind the Drops, and the Difference Shows When It Is Dimmed

Two E14 sockets sit behind the tiers rather than one, so the drops are lit from two points and the sparkle does not collapse to a single hot spot. The fitting also dims with dimmable bulbs on a compatible dimmer, which matters on a crystal piece more than on a plain one: at full output the drops flash hard, and taken down to half they settle into a warm shimmer that suits a hallway at night. Neither the bulbs nor the dimmer are included, and each socket takes 15 watts at most.

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
