Where does the light go?

Up and down along the wall, and softly through the rope. The shade is open at the top and bottom, so it washes the wall in two directions and glows in the middle.

Which bulb suits hemp rope?

A warm white LED bulb. It stays cool against the fiber and brings out the golden color of the rope. The bulb is not included.

Is the rope treated?

It is natural hemp with no added color. It can shed a few fibers at first and softens in tone over time.

How do I clean it?

Dust it with a soft brush or a vacuum on low with a brush head. Keep it out of steam and away from water.

Is it good by a bed?

Yes. At 9.1 inches across it fits beside most headboards, and the soft glow is gentle at night. A pair either side of a bed works well.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and switched from the wall.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
