Can it be mounted either way up?

Yes, and the photographs show both. Upright it runs beside a bed or a doorway and reads as a tall panel. Flat it runs above a console, a dining table or a kitchen island and behaves more like a linear fitting. Tell us which you plan at order so the gear and the pull chain sit on the right end.

Which length should I pick?

The 122 cm suits a standard wall above a console or beside a bed. The 155 cm is for a long dining wall, a kitchen island or a double height space, and it needs clear wall on both sides to read properly. Measure the run first, since neither can be shortened.

How bright is it?

About 28W of LED on the 122 cm and about 52W on the 155 cm, which is ambient light for a room rather than task light on a surface. Above a dining table it does most of the work; beside a bed it is closer to a wash.

Is there a bulb to change?

The LED is integrated along the diffuser at a warm 3000K. Nothing to source and nothing to replace during normal use.

What is the carving?

Layers of solid wood cut into contour lines, the way a relief map steps up a hillside. The lines are cut rather than printed, so they catch the light from the diffuser beside them and throw their own small shadows.

How do I clean it?

Let it cool. Dust the carved wood with a soft dry brush, since the contour steps hold dust. Wipe the acrylic diffuser with a barely damp cloth and dry it at once, and keep solvents off it.

Upright Beside a Bed or Flat Above a Kitchen Island, From the Same Fitting

Orientation changes what this piece is for. Fixed upright it becomes a tall panel, which is how it works beside a bed, next to a doorway, or on the blank wall at the end of a corridor, and the eye reads it as wall art with a glow. Turned flat it becomes a linear fitting: above a dining table it lights the surface without a pendant hanging in anyone's sightline, above a kitchen island it washes the counter, above a console it stretches the wall out. Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
