Four Cables and One Plate, Which Is Why the Ring Looks Like It Is Floating

Most large chandeliers announce their hardware. A stem, a chain, a canopy the size of a dinner plate: the structure is part of what you look at. This one hides almost all of it. Each ring hangs on four cables barely thicker than a wire, and all of them run back to a single flat plate against the ceiling. At night the cables disappear against the ceiling entirely and what is left above the table is a band of lit stone with nothing visible holding it. That is also why the tiers work. Stack two or three rings and you still see rings, not a frame with rings in it, because there is no frame anywhere in the object.

How many tiers should I choose?

One tier suits a standard ceiling above a table. Two reads as a centerpiece in a double height room. Three is a stairwell piece, seen from more than one floor, and it needs the drop measured before you choose.

Is the stone the same on every ring?

No two rings match, because each block is cut from natural stone and the veining runs where it runs. That is the point of the material. Expect variation in the pattern and in how warm the stone reads once it is lit.

Can the cables be shortened?

Yes. The four cables adjust at the ceiling plate up to 4.9 ft, and your electrician sets the drop during installation. Decide the finished height before the fixing goes in, because the plate is what carries the load.

Is it dimmable?

As supplied it holds one level. The integrated LED on this model is not dimmable. Do not put it on a dimmer circuit, because that shortens the life of the driver rather than lowering the output.

What does the ceiling need to carry?

More than a standard box on the larger sizes. Weight runs from 20 kg at the small end to 200 kg at the top of the range, so the larger pieces need a structural fixing checked by the person installing it.

Which diameter for a dining table?

As a working rule, take about half the width of the table. A 39.4 inch ring sits well over a table around 80 inches long. Going wider than the table makes the fixture the subject rather than the meal.

The Three Tier Version Is a Stairwell Piece, and the Drop Decides Everything

A stairwell is the one place in a house where a fixture is seen from several heights at once: from the hall below, from the turn of the stairs, from the landing above. That is what the three tier build is for. The rings stagger down the void so each floor gets one at roughly eye level, and the cables carry the load back to one plate at the top. The cables adjust up to 4.9 ft, which sets the position of the top ring, and the spacing between rings is fixed by the build. In a two story void that usually lands the lowest ring above head height on the ground floor, which is where you want it.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
