A Tall Lit Box That Reads as Architecture Before It Reads as a Lamp
Some outdoor lights disappear into the wall. This one is meant to be seen. A black stainless steel frame holds a ribbed acrylic panel, and thin gold tone bands wrap the top and bottom so the box looks finished even with the light off. Lit, the ribs break the glow into soft vertical lines. It comes in three heights, 13.8, 27.6 and 39.4 inches, and in two power versions: wired to the house circuit on a wall switch, or solar with a cell set into the top and a remote. Both are rated IP65 for an exposed wall.
