This rod runs 45.3 inches up the wall and carries the globes along it, so the lit area is a vertical line rather than a point. At 5.9 inches wide it takes almost no horizontal space while doing that. How much wall does it need?

45.3 inches tall and 5.9 inches wide. That vertical proportion is the point: it fills a tall narrow wall beside a stair, an entry or a console where a standard sconce lights only a band.

Which bulbs does it take?

G9 bi pin LED bulbs, not included, one per globe. Warm white between 2700K and 3000K keeps the stone warm. A cooler bulb pulls the alabaster gray and flattens the veining.

Will the globes match each other?

Close, but not identical, even on the same rod. Each is turned from natural alabaster, so veining, tone and translucency vary and the two spheres glow at slightly different warmths.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs from a wall switch. At nearly four feet tall the box position decides the whole composition, so agree it before the wiring.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, with no protection against water. Alabaster is porous and stains from steam, and on a round globe that marking shows from every angle in the room.

Each globe is turned from natural alabaster thin enough for the light to pass through the whole sphere, which means the source disappears and what you see is an evenly lit stone ball. On a fitting at head height along a hallway that matters more than it sounds: a clear or frosted globe puts a bright point at eye level every time you walk past, and a stone one does not. The veining and translucency vary from globe to globe, so even on a single rod the two spheres will not glow at exactly the same warmth.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

Yes. If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order, before it has been processed, we will refund you right away. After an order has shipped, please follow the standard return process described above.
