Why is the bracket stepped?

How bright is the stem?

Comfortable rather than strong, which is the point at a bedside. It reads like a candle at full output and drops to a low night light when you hold the switch, so it can stay on through the night without keeping anyone awake.

How is it fixed to the wall?

The bracket takes two screws and the fitting hangs on them. Because the cell is inside, there is no wiring, no junction box and no chase to cut, so it can go on a finished wall and come off again leaving two small holes.

How long does it run?

Around 4 hours at full brightness and up to 24 hours dimmed. Charging over USB takes about 3 hours, and the whole fitting lifts off the bracket so you can charge it on a desk rather than leaving a cable down the wall.

Does it work outside a bedroom?

It suits a corridor or a landing well, where a single warm point at head height is enough to move through the space. Two of them spaced along a hallway give a rhythm without a run of ceiling lights.

Is the stem fragile?

It is solid frosted acrylic rather than glass, so it takes a knock from a sleeve or a pillow without chipping. Wipe it with a dry cloth, since solvents are what dull the frosted surface over time.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
