Will it fit a standard US junction box?

The wood plate is not designed for a standard box and needs direct wiring by an electrician. Ask yours to review the fitting first, because that decides the install.

How far does the arm reach?

16.1 inches from the wall, with the shade hanging below the plate. That is enough to carry the light past the front edge of a desk or a nightstand instead of putting it on the wall behind you.

Is the shade glass or ceramic?

Write to us and we will send you the material for the exact shade in writing. What the photographs show is a smooth white cone that reads as a solid surface rather than a lit panel, which is the practical difference in a room.

Which bulb does it take?

One standard E26 bulb, not included. A 2700K LED keeps the white shade warm against the brass and the wood. A filament bulb is fine here since the shade hides the socket from a seated position.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes, and more than usual. On top of the normal wall supply, the plate needs direct wiring rather than a standard box connection, so this is not a fitting to hand to a general handyman.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, with no protection against water, and the wood plate will move in a room that fills with steam. Keep it to a study, a bedroom or a living room.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
