A table lamp takes the surface it stands on. This one hangs from the wall on a thin cable and drops a narrow beam onto whatever is below, which leaves the whole nightstand for a book, a glass and a phone. The cone is slim enough to sit at head height without blocking the view across the bed, and the beam is tight rather than diffuse, so it lights a page without filling the room. How is the height adjusted?

The cable shortens or lets out by up to 15.7 inches after mounting, so you set the final drop with the furniture in place rather than committing to it when the junction box goes in.

How do the three color settings work?

They cycle from the wall switch: 3000K warm, 4500K neutral and 6000K cool. There is no remote and no dimming, so the room switch is the only control on the fitting.

What is the difference between Model A and Model B?

Both are listed at the same dimensions. Write to us and we will send you a photograph of each, so the code means something before you choose.

Is it bright enough to read by?

The beam is narrow and falls straight down, which suits a book on a nightstand or in bed. It does not light a room, so treat it as a reading light rather than as general lighting.

Does it need an electrician?

Yes. It is hardwired to a wall junction box and runs from a wall switch. Since the switch also changes the color setting, put the box somewhere the switch is easy to reach from the bed.

Can it go in a bathroom?

It is rated IP20, with no protection against water. A hanging cable over a basin also collects condensation, which runs to the lowest point and sits on the crystal tip.

The Cable Adjusts Up to Sixteen Inches, So the Height Is Set After Mounting

Hanging fittings usually commit you to a drop at the moment the box goes in, and a bedside light that ends up four inches too high is one you stop using. This cable can be shortened or let out by up to 15.7 inches after the fitting is on the wall, so the final height is decided with the bed in place rather than from a drawing. The LED is fixed at the tip with three color settings, warm at 3000K, neutral at 4500K and cool at 6000K, changed from the wall switch rather than from a remote.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return an item?

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return on eligible items. To start, email us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and the reason for the return, and we will send you the return address and instructions. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

No. On approved returns, we provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Please note that a return should never be sent to the manufacturer's address; only to the address our team provides.

I received a damaged or defective item. What should I do?

We are sorry to hear that. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse delivery if you can, then contact us at support@orodwell.com with your order number and a photo of the item. We will prioritise your request and arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Can I change my mind after ordering?
